Hey tallymarks peeps. I have a request. Does anyone with a pureblood character have an older brother that could be courting/engaged/married to Morag MacDougal's older sister Isobel? She doesn't have a definitive age yet, but mid-twenties is what I'm going for.

While we're at it? Anyone want to offer up a surname for her mum? Life, as has become usual, is trying to destroy me so I haven't had the chance to actively pursue these connections before now.

As far as Morag herself, she's going to be at taxonomic. In a nutshell, the MacDougals have always been with purist society yet pretty conservative themselves. They aren't the type to start shouting about those damned mudbloods ruining everything, but Morag herself has never actually met a muggle and is kind of wary of them. She's more a bit of an elitist that's also a pureblood, as opposed to an out and out purist. As of late, she's purposely ambiguous/apathetic with just about anything you could toss her way - she doesn't want to get on either side's shit list, so her natural penchant for indecisiveness has run rampant. She can't multitask for shit, bends easily to pressure from those around her (for the most part), and doesn't exactly understand compassion. Not a cold-hearted bitch, but she was a bit of a spoiled brat as a child and she hasn't shed all that entails quite yet. She does have some redeeming values, though (lol), in that she'll always lend a shoulder - even if she'd rather not, will actually go out of her way for those close to her and has a love of corny jokes. Ur plot: i want itz.

And finally: there's a big rambly post I need to finish about BT (as well as tie up shit), but I have the sneaking suspicion the majority of that will have to wait until the new year. Impending hiatuses at HF and PA will be starting Wednesday or Thursday until... the 29th? I think that's when I get back from NY.

I keep meaning to set aside time to talk about my thoughts on BT and the characters I've played there, but my life is doing that thing where all of my time is placed in things not conducive to RP. So. This will eventually happen, but until then? Does anyone want to throw up a placeholder (LOL LAST MINUTE) and log anything with p much any of my peeps whether they are dead or incarcerated or wtfe? They will have to stay placeheld until at least Friday, but I have from then until Wednesday (HOPEFULLY) to tie up loose ends and things of that nature before I heard to NY for the holidays. ALSO DON'T WORRY IF THERE IS SOME SORT OF LOG THAT NEVER GOT FINISHED, YET IT IS MY TAG. ALL OF THE TAGS ARE MINE THIS WEEKEND.

After the start of my own week and finally reading over my CDJ flist, I've noticed that quite a few people are kind of feeling removed from their RP mojo or just struggling with it in general - whether because of school, work, life or "it is what it is". You know what, flist? Fuck. That. We can all say without a doubt that we know tons of amazing RPers who are also amazing people, so why not spread that around in some impromptu warm and fuzzy feelings circlejerk? (Feel free to replace that phrasing with something less inherently crass if you'd like, no offense will be taken...) Yes, it's true, snaps cup since it's been some time since one of these has come about to my knowledge.
