"WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! YEAH! WE DID IT! Fuck me. Why do I know the Dora the Explorer song?" -
whoathethunderHere's the dealio: I at first had this posted on my userinfo, but it annoyed me to have approximately a kadahfrillion things there, so I moved it to a post. From this day on, I christen this the post where I shall keep track of my word count for
rpwrimo.
My handy, dandy sidekick Kait (
whoathethunder) and I decided that we weren't just going to be some sheep with NaNoWriMo, oh no. We're
much too cool for that
...or at least that's what we tell ourselves... and decided to take part of RPWriMo this year. It is probably for the best seeing as years of collaborative writing have severely messed with my ability to work out an entire plot by myself.
Now you might be saying to yourself, "But, Leigh, the RPWriMo goal is only 30,000 words, so why are you going for the NaNo goal of 50,000?" A very good question indeed, my friend, and the answer is as follows- (ahem) I have too much time on my hands, as does Kait. Trust me, it adds to our awesomeness. Really, I swear. After falling behind on our writing, we decided to not uber-challenge ourselves, and just go with 30,000 as a goal. Aha. We also decided to only count the words written with our characters (I'mma let you finish Owen Ivers, Andromeda Black & Spicer Graydon, but...) over at our PSL community
verbigeration.
Errybody needs to keep their fingers crossed for the two of us in this endeavor, and I wish everyone else participating in RPWriMo the best of luck!
